  昨日は富士宮市にて、第18回信長黄葉まつり、第27回織田信長サミットの実行委員会会議に参加。
今年は毎年開催の信長黄葉まつり前日に、富士宮市では初の織田信長サミットも開催される。
会議では、このところの天候具合も話し合われ二日に渡り開催される行事の計画はかなり綿密であった。

　また、織田信長サミットの空席が若干あるとの事。

◆第27回 織田信長サミット◆

概要：織田信長にゆかりのある市町が加盟し、2年毎に首長の集まるサミットを開催しています。
富士宮市は平成25年に加盟し、今回が初開催となります。

"Traditional bow culture of Japan"
" Heki-school Sekka line(Heki-ryu Sekka-ha) "






Heki-school Sekka line is a Japanese martial art of bow originated during the Muromachi Period, having characteristics of very practical shooting method, and many Japanese military commanders including Ieyasu Tokugawa adopted the archer in the Period of Warring States (Sengoku Period).

"Flying, Penetration, and Hitting" are supreme objectives;

1.Showing good arrow flying.　
2. Having strong penetration.　
3. Making a perfect hit.

Technical secrets for above tree objectives had been handed down orally. That is, required ability to penetrate hard objects such as armour made of iron by arrow, and powerful archery with practical immediate response.


After the defeat of Yoshimoto Imagawa by Nobunaga Oda in the Battle of Okehazama in 1560,Ieyasu Tokugawa (19 years old at that time) sent the letter stated "About Bow" to three countries of Mikawa,Enshu and Suruga, promoted bow and arrow in spite of warriors, farmers, artisans and tradesmen classes, and filled insufficient soldiers in battles. Our Heki-school Sekka line is a traditional school based on "About Bow" by Ieyasu Tokugawa in 1560.

In addition, bow and arrow had been considered as having spiritual ability to drive away devils and evil spirits for ancient Japanese, rather than just weapon, and have been performed picking bow string to ward off evil spirits in Shinto ritual from Heian Period.
Shinto ritual called " Bow Festival " have being performed at shrines in our Mikawa area. The purpose of Bow Festival is to get rid of evils by hitting the golden target with arrow in the festival for praying bumper crops, village safety, and good healthfor the village centered the shrine.

The character of " Oni(Devil) " is carved in the back of about 5 cm diameter golden target, symbolized evil spirits and disaster.
The target looks gorgeous for the golden color, however, it's incarnation of devils actually. Sometime, festival did not start due to not hitting the golden target with arrow, and float and parade did not go out of the precinct in the shrine.
Such anecdotes by old man still remain on record, because of not hitting the golden target with arrow, 3 days prolonged the festival. After purification of Shinto priest, the ceremony to remove an arrow from the penetrated golden target, called " Shuteki", performed in the main hall of the shrine. The winner hitting the golden target with arrow, will receive reward and prize called "Dedication tablet money" from the shrine. With the " Dedication tablets money ", the winner dedicate a golden target penetration dedication tablets writing the name of winner, at the next year’s bow festival, and hanging for a long time in the precinct in the shrine. This is a supreme honor for a bow player.

Still now, more than 300 years old tablet existing in the shrine performing "Bow Festival". Through Edo period, each archery school teaching skills and techniques of archery, had been kept never taking off the premises, and taught with oral instruction only between master and pupil principally. We would like to succeed and maintain Heki-school Sekka line martial art of bow as a cultural heritage, originated in Muromachi period.

「第31回 峠の国盗り綱引き合戦」　中止

　10月22日（日）、ヒョー越峠で開催予定でした「第31回峠の国盗り綱引き合戦」は、
非常に残念ではありますが、悪天候が予想されるため中止となりました。（順延はありません）

　韓国イエチョン市で開催された世界の弓引きが集うお祭りに参加して参りました。

　開催は4日間。会場ではアーチェリー実践体験。弓を使ったサバイバルゲームやレクリエーション、世界の弓と矢の文化紹介、大会参加国の演武。韓国の伝統的な弓と矢を射る学生コンテスト、韓国武道のパフォーマンスと弓に関連した舞台公演など、弓と矢に関する様々なプログラムが行われた。
　大会期間中は、World Traditional Archery Federationの初の会議も開催され、世界のアーチェリー文化を促進する取り組みの一環として世界各地のユニークな弓文化を共有し、国際的な射手のネットワークを確立するためのもので、この会議には、インドネシア、トルコ、米国、カナダ、英国、フランス、ハンガリー、中国、日本、モンゴル、ブータン、ケニアなど約20カ国が参加。またそこには、アジア太平洋無形文化遺産センター（ICHCAP）、トルコソー、国際ボークスクンスト（IOV）など、関連する国際機関も参加していた。

　またここイエチョン市では、朝鮮時代の退役将軍が移住し、約300年前に弓矢の専門知識と文化を若い世代に伝えて以来、韓国伝統弓術の中心地としてその名を馳せている。今日、韓国の伝統的な弓の約70％が製造されており、国際標準のアーチェリー施設が整備されています。
　この伝統とインフラを背景に、数十人の世界チャンピオンを含む100人以上の有能なアーチェリー選手を輩出してきたという。さらに昨今では、アーチェリー文化を育むため金門国際弓道場周辺の地域に国家アーチェリーテーマパークを建設する計画。テーマパークには、アーチェリー歴史博物館、フィールドアーチェリーコース、アーチェリー体験ホール、アーチェリー教育センターなどがあるという。

　大会の趣旨や概要は上記のことである。

　ただ、初参加の私の感想としては、この壮大な歴史や計画は頭ではわかってはいるものの、今回感じたのは数日を共にした世界各国の人たちの事。
彼らは、弓を愛し、人に優しく、笑顔がとても可愛い。本当に良い人達でした。
また、会いたいです。本当に会いたい。
今度会ったら話したい、聞いてみたいことたくさんあります。本当に楽しかったのです。
　現地のスタッフさんにもお世話になりました。
柳さんにも。言葉では簡単になってしまいます。
ですが、今はそうするしかありません。言葉に思いは込めます。

　「岐阜のまつりと取り組み」

　先日、ぎふ信長まつり、火縄銃演武への参加の為岐阜市を訪れた。
火縄銃の演武は俳優の藤岡弘さん扮する織田信長公を後方に中心市街地を行列。
所々での火縄銃演武は、中心市街地だけに沿道に続くお客さんの数と今までにない火縄銃の轟音を耳にし、自分自身少しの興奮を味わいました。また、年に数回、そして数年かぶりの仲間にも再会。地元を離れての遠征はこうした楽しみもあり楽しかったです。

　そして今回はもう一つ。
予定を調整してうまいこと前日入りできたこともあり岐阜の街を少し散策してみた。

　2年前に完成したという、「みんなの森 ぎふメディアコスモス」に行った。中央図書館を中核施設とする複合施設である。

　オォ、いい！　と思った。　私、以外にも図書館へ行く人。でもその図書館にずーっと居たいと思ったことはない。
でもここは、本もさることながらここへ来たいと思ったのである。

　ヤラレました。　「行きたくなる図書館」を造ったのだ。

　もちろんそれだけじゃない。

　古い町並みもちゃんと遺す。（川原町）　
　歴史もね。（信長まつり）　
　そして未来も創造する。（図書館）

　私の知ってるところ。
　　古い物・・・壊す
　　歴史・・・ゆるキャラ
　　未来・・・城の真ん中にコーヒー屋、ド～ん

　なんだか愚痴になってしまいましたが、それぐらい岐阜の街とまつりが良かったという事。
外に出ると色々と勉強になります。

　最後に・・・。
　今回のおまつりでは色々とお世話になりました。
